Lesson Types

This beginner class covers all the basics of the game! I will teach tile names, dealing, the Charleston, the card, and other game-related terms. The lesson will last approximately 2 hours, and I will provide all of the required materials. It is highly recommended to schedule a Mahjong 102 lesson within 2 weeks of scheduling Mahjong 101. In this 2-hour class, let’s first review what we learned in Mahjong 101. Then, we will dive deeper into the card and functions of different tiles in Mahjong 102! Let’s Get Our Mahj On! Book 102 here.
Learn how to play the game from start to finish in 3 hours! We will dive a little deeper into the card and then do some practice through another game or two. Book here.

If you would like to learn to play the game with only one other person, for whatever reason, this is the lesson for you! I can teach you the basics of the game with only one other person. This lesson is also great if you know how to play mahjong, but just want to up your strategy game and learn another fun way to play! Book here.
