Hi there!

I’m a pediatrician turned mahjong instructor—an unexpected twist, but truly the best decision I’ve ever made. Teaching this beautiful, brain-boosting game lets me connect with amazing people and spend more time with my husband and our two sweet boys.

My Mahjong teaching journey began in 2023 after taking Mahjong Molly’s instructor course in Washington, D.C. My boys inspired my business name, Mother Knows Mahj, after hearing Disney’s “Mother Knows Best” song!

I'm proud to be an ambassador for The Mahjong Line—I love every single one of their stylish, colorful sets. I’ve taught dozens of students and hosted countless games, but what I love most is the social magic of mahjong. It brings people together, sparks new friendships, and even has brain health benefits. (Doctor’s orders: play more mahjong!)
